TWO-HOUR GUIDED “PAY TO DIG”
TURQUOISE COLLECTING TOUR
-Tuesdays @ 4PM, Wednesdays @ 4PM, Thursdays @ 4PM-
-$50/Guest-
-Meet at visitor center & arrive 15 minutes early-
This guided tour requires you to walk approximately 0.5 miles on a dirt road in each direction to get to the turquoise mine (1 mile roundtrip).
Hiking poles are provided. Must wear long pants and sturdy footwear such as hiking boots. We have potable water and bathrooms onsite. Please bring water bottles that will allow you to carry at least 1 liter of water. Appropriate for ages 10+. You will not need to go underground or bring any special tools to find the turquoise.
Each guest is permitted to take home their 10 favorite pieces of turquoise! Did you strike it rich?! Each guest has the option to pay an additional $50 to take home an additional 10 pieces.
Tours must be booked and paid for at least 24 hours in advance by calling or texting 520-585-6555. For same day reservations, please call to check availability. No refunds for cancellations less than 24 hours before tour.

An advanced tour taking you to collect at some of our favorite
and least-visited turquoise mines.
Guests must be able to hike between 4 to 6 miles over rough terrain. Same collecting rules apply as two-hour turquoise tour. Must book at least 24 hours in advance.
Book as far in advance as possible—this tour fills up quickly!!
